Parenting Anxious Children -For parents supporting children and adolescents experiencing worry, fear, or anxiety
It might be the school drop-off that ends in tears…
The sleep struggles that keep repeating…
Or the constant “what if” questions that leave your child stuck—and you unsure how to respond.
When your child is anxious, it can be difficult to know what will genuinely help.
You want to comfort them—but not reinforce the fear.
You want to build confidence—but not push too far, too fast.
If these moments are becoming part of your daily life, it’s worth addressing them early—before patterns of avoidance and distress become more established.
Parenting Anxious Children gives you a clear, structured approach to understanding and responding to anxiety.
Designed for parents of children and adolescents, this course introduces practical, evidence-informed strategies to help you respond with greater clarity, support your child’s emotional development, and guide them toward building coping skills over time.
Inside, you’ll learn how to:
* Recognise and understand how anxiety presents in children and adolescents
* Respond in ways that support your child without unintentionally reinforcing fear
* Reduce reassurance cycles and support more independent coping
* Gradually build your child’s confidence to face challenges
* Navigate common anxiety-related situations (e.g., separation, school, social settings, sleep)
Each module includes practical examples and downloadable resources—so you can begin applying what you learn straight away, in real-life moments.
This course is ideal for parents who want a more confident, consistent approach to supporting anxiety—early, while patterns are still developing.
